a situation which made him think it was necessary to make a decision which
insured his success on the battlefield. He was about to send his armies against
his powerful enemies who had killed a big number of his soldiers. So, he loaded
his soldiers on the boat, sail to the enemies country, unloaded there his
soldiers and all their war equipment and then he gave the order to burn the
ships that carried them!
Addressing his men before their first battle he said, “You
see the boat going up in smokes! that means we can not leave this shore unless

The good news is, they won! Why? Because winning was
the only option they had to spare their lives, So they focused on the battle
with the strong desire to live and
fought a good fight.
